I had a plate stolen off my cargo trailer a couple of years ago but at least the thief was kind enough to leave another plate on it for me.

Call the cops let them know, usually a stolen plate is used to steal a car

Yup, a few years ago someone stole a white ZJ and swapped the plate off my white XJ with it. They even went as far as to break into my jeep and swap my insurance papers too...

"thick as thieves" goes the saying. I had someone break into my jeep and steal JUST THE FACEPLATE of my stereo. Are they that frickin' retarded?? Its useless to them unless they have the exact same model of stereo.

ebay probably has a market for faceplates... who knows, you might buy your own back.

stolen plates are good for smash n grabs too.

i just dont understand like i leave my truck unlocked because the key doesnt work in the doors so i keep nothing worth anything in it except for coffie money :) but the last time someone got in to my truck they left the money and took a mud covered hat and coveralls  and a rag I use for checking the oil?
