Anyone run H1 wheels before? They are the same wheel pattern as my axles, the backspacing will compensate nicely for my retarded wide axles and I have no hubs to worry about sticking out. I am just curious how well the double bead lock works and if it is possible to get them to balance at all.

I was playing around with the idea too, Will. I decided not to due to the limited tire sizes available. But, I have no experience with them.

16.5"x9" wide... Not a common size anymore but still available... They look badass too;)
I'd try them but not sure where to get them near here...

I found some in Ontario. 24 bolt with 37/12.5 mtr kevlars 80% tread(Mil spec ones with the super thick sidewalls) Landed here in Calgary $1700 for 4.

What axle are you running? With all that back spacing you might run into fitment issues with steering and such. Mine are recentered with 4"back spacing. Also with the factory setup your hubs usually end up sticking out further then your rims. Bellavista has a really good write up on pirate. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/PR-Hummer_Rims/

I'm going to be installing front and rear AAM axles from a 2003 dodge ram 3500. No hubs to deal with(sealed hubs) and the stock wheels have around 6.5" of backspacing. I know that I will have to get a machine shop to enlarge the hub openings slightly and I will shave my calipers a bit. How are they on the road for balancing?

Edmonton apparently has some

I have 40" TSL'S. So I cant comment on balancing. But they should be fine. Only thing that would effect it would be the runflats if you plan on cutting them down.

I figured I would order some pvc inserts. You run the stock runflats?

You can also cut down the factory magnesium run-flats .. It's really fun cause the magnesium is so volatile :)
