Title: Anyone running a tuner and/or TB Spacer on their JK?
Post by: MattMan on September 27, 2017, 08:20:18 PM
Just ordered up the Superchips TrailDash2 and an AiRaid Spacer... mostly good reviews on the ol' interweb. Any local thoughts or experience on the matter?

Trail dash 2 is very cool. Lots of neat stuff you can do with it. The TB spacer won't do much if anything on your engine.😔

Oh come on Heeps. If you combine it with the right stickers, it's good for at least 7 HP.

I have TD2. It came with the Jeep. It does feel peppier in the 91 octane tune vs. stock. Have not tried the 94 tune yet. However, it's all seat of the pants feeling. Only dyno would tell for sure. Also, with high gasoline prices I tent to run it with 91 tune/87 octane fuel most of the time anyway. It seems to suck a bit more gas that way (up to 2l/100km more) but I save even more per fillup. I think this engine would be a hoot in a 2000lb car or in a Willys. TJs and JKs should come with a proper V8.
