Title: Exhaust smell 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Post by: RonsCRD on November 04, 2017, 08:25:39 AM
Hello all,
I am new here and this is my first question/post.

I recently purcgased a 2008 Grand Cherokee 3.0L Diesel and i have noticed at slow spoeds or at a stop, a burnt smell or exhaust smell coming in the cabin through the vents. I have searched online and discovered this is not unique to my CRD. Just wondering if any of our local people have had this same issue on there GC Diesel and how they corrected this.
Thanks

These like to leak oil, especially higher mileage units. The oil burns off and can cause a smell. I've also seen injector seals leak causing a smell from the vents.
