Title: Let's Talk Steering Stabilizers
Post by: Dave on May 30, 2005, 03:36:15 PM
Who makes a good one? Who makes a bad one? What does everyone run and are you happy with it?
ProComp is crap and I'm not getting another one, even if they are cheap. I'm looking for some experienced input here.

I have always heard good things about the Rancho stabilizer. Never personally used one, I had a skyjacker stabilizer on my rig, and it worked very well. But I only put about 10000 kms on it, if that.

I've alos got the Rancho SS.  Ive had it for 3 years and have been running very heavy 37 BFG Krawlers with 17 x 9 beedlocks and it does not seem to effect them.  Very smooth and no death wobble......yet.  (knock on wood) :D

OK I found it. Munroe part #SC2928 is heavy enough for 36" tires and is available from PartsSource for $45.
