01' TJ trouble code 455

TREVORS EX jeep is throwing codes.  get p0455. my trusty internet says P0455 (M) Evap Leak Monitor Large Leak Detected A large leak has been detected in the evaporative system.   someone wanna guide me through how to find this? its an 01 4.OL.    like, can i just duct tape this puppy solid to stop the light??  thanks guys

did you check the gas cap? shoulda bought a YJ... then again who knows what that badger lover did to that jeep before you got it...  ;)

first thing we did :)  gonna reset it tomorrow see if it persists. 

i can't imagine what trevor put that badger through, sniffin gas fumes and all! oye!

More then likely its a pressure sending unit on the little re circ motor.

If you dont find it in a hurry, talk to Eric and see if they have a smoker down at Courtesy. Fastest way to find evap leaks is to pump smoke through the system and see where it comes out. Most dealers have them.
