When I had my first XJ the J on the front fell off. We all started calling it EEP. Current XJ is also missing the J, figured I would use EEP for a user name.

Bringing back a necro. At least it's a good one. Buki is short for Fubuki. My dog and probably the most loyal friend a guy could have. If you've met him he's a very obedient loving animal, the exact opposite of me;)

Coming from the guy who's custom license plate reads Im Mr Tall... ;)
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

It's to confuse people when I jump out of the XJ.

Jeep started out as a Sahara. But, has been built up to have
most of the features of a Rubicon. AND, it has been offroading
in Moab, Utah.  Hence:   MOABICON
03 TJ, 4" lift, 33's, Eaton eLockers- Front & Rear, winch, CB

Came from my jeep names,

First jeep was a white 95 zj, we called her Betty Bo Jeep
Next was are 06 wk, which became betty jr,
When i got the black 99 xj, it was only suiting to call it black betty

Thats when i joined the forum,

Since then we had a white 90 xj, named betty white
Now my 94 yj is betty rubble
And the red yj was little red betty.

Funny thing is every other forum im known as Wanderingwest, and west for short.
06 wk-soccer mom mobile aka Betty J
99 xj- Black Betty, 2" OME lift
94 yj- needs to be lifted aka Betty Rubble

My original username on the forum was Raspberry. Simon (aka TL-Iguana) was the one who gave me that nickname... I showed up to work one morning in a 'gun-metal pink' dress shirt. He called me out on it. I laughed and replied "Its not pink, its raspberry!", and the name stuck.

As for my Jeeps, well the first one was nicknamed 'Big Ben' by a buddy Jordan. I think the English accent had something to do with it.
Second one I originally called Limey, but on its first run down in Mclean, it earned the nickname of 'Lost Limey', as I lost it on a trail somewhere...
There was a group of us who went night wheeling, 5 rigs including mine, I brought up the rear. We had stopped in an open area passing another buddy we'd met earlier in the day, broke out a beer and had a little dance party. I realised later that the rest of my group had left, and I had to catch up... I could just barely see their tail lights farther down the trail they'd taken, so I was gunning it to catch up.
At one point the tail lights disappeared completely... and then re-appeared up ahead a few minutes later, so I kept going straight.
Well, it turns out they had taken a bypass to avoid a huge skeg pit... given that it was so dark, I didn't see it coming, and ploughed straight in.

No-one in the group turned back. My swamper and I had to abandon the Jeep where it was, hike it the rest of the trail where we got to the gravel road, and just by CHANCE there was someone driving down the gravel road when we got to it. We flagged them down, asked for a ride back to camp, interrupted everyone else's dinner preparations when we got there, and the search party got rolling.
Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to leave any marker by the trail we left when we'd reached the gravel road... every single trail looked the same. Suffice it to say we called off the search until the morning, when the sun was up and it would be much easier to back-trace our steps from the gravel road...

Still couldn't find it.

So we decided to roll out as a group again, taking the same trails as we had the night before, from start to finish. Figured we'd eventually find a Jeep on the trail somewhere....
And we did. 4pm the next day.

Damn thing spent the whole night and most of the next day, like this, and still fired up and ready to go first try!
