?I know this is an old thread, but I would really like to see where this went. Any updates or pics of the finished product?

Bahahahah Finished ... I snorted hard at that idea. Think it looks the exact same today as it did in the pics from 3 years ago.

Raf ... quit trying to sell it and just finish it already  8) 8) 8)

Yeah no change. I did make jack stand dolly so I can move it around from one side to the next. We'll see what happens in 2018 Fug

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with having a project sit unfinished in your garage for many years...

Well...I guess I should have put finished in quotes....
Either way that is strong work. Very nice indeed!! Raf... I just picked up a pristine rust free 2000 2 door and I am looking to do a similar set up with a frame. I do have the equipment and skills to do it, I just have a few questions on specifics. Would you mind if I sent you a PM and picked your brain a bit?
Nick

Awesome!! Thanks!!
I just picked up a Dana 60/70 combo and a tow truck should be delivering a complete 2002 Tahoe with a 5.3 to my house sometime tomorrow.
Being that the XJ I have is %110 rust free it is the perfect blank canvas to start with (Even if it is currently a 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder) so I want to do it once and do it right. I was considering frame stiffeners, but it has been in my head that it would probably be easier, and with a better end result, to start from scratch. As soon as I found this thread I knew I had to reach out.
You may regret it, but you'll be hearing from me.
