Any opinions on midland.  Flying J has the 1001z which is nice and small.  Only $45 though...quality going to be an issue there?

I would buy a midland before a cobra, as a trucker i find there quality is a lot better

I just grabbed the Midland 1001z.  I figured something is better than nothing.

For anyone interested, Flying J has that unit on sale right now for $29.99.
