Depending when it is I'd be game for learning more mig welding. Right now I don't enjoy mig nearly as much as tig but I have a feeling I'm just not familiar enough with mig yet.

Not as of yet, I am waiting on the 496 to call back, I've had family in town for the last three weeks visiting.  I will follow up this week and see where we are at.
