A ZJ Pre-Runner?  :)

No, this is what happens when he gets ahold of a 6 pack and a plasma cutter.

more like an 18 pack..... PHill drank his share ;)
do you know how nerve racking it is to cut that close to uniobody framerails? one slip and bye bye ZJ. lol.  i was kind of going for a prerunner look i guess Todd. mostly, because its so low, i wanted to be able to hit stuff to bounce up over it.
and i cut all the unibody crap out front so that there is more room for the tire to hit/climb obstacles instead of hitting ugly sheet metal.

You got a lot of cutting left before you get rid of all the guly sheet metal.  ;)

I kinda like it, Johnny. It's like a ZJ that's lost a bunch of weight.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

A picture of where the vapour canister is now would be gret to see.

Nice work on the metal too.

Like it's owner. Good job working the gut off John.

The ZJ diet plus your weight loss equals what? Like 50 HP ?

Thing is awesome, and I don't really like ZJs.  But this one beat Anorexia (Terrible joke, I know).  I like the bumpers, and I really need a hoist!

sliders are done.  hung out at Phils and did some drinking, shooting, and these too. pretty simple, nothing crazy.  might add a kicker at some point, maybe. donno.

pics.

for the install, there are 4 kickers to the 'frame' and the kickers are welded straight to it, as well as the pinch seam on the underside. notched the pinch seam so the tube would fit. they fit pretty well. tubing was 2x2" for the slider, and the kickers are 1.75" dom, because i have lots left ;)

they work good enough, and will save my rusted to crap rockers from falling off i guess haha. i might add the kicker just slo i have a side step of sorts lol

cutting out the rockers looks like a lot of time and effort. this was more of a 'i'm bored, lets drink some beer and weld crap to my jeep' kind of thing.

i still have some tube left, but its mine mwahahahaha. not sure what i'll use it for. :)
