How was your hunt this year?
« on: November 26, 2011, 05:15:50 PM »
Well whight tail rifel is coming to a close and several other species, for another year.
How was everyone's hunt?

For my first year hunting in Alberta I got 2 whight tail does. My first was a 50 yard with .243 she dressed out to almost 80lbs. My second was my proud of shot. Ranged it out to 210 yards with 7mm rem mag strat on chest shot. And did not lose any meat.

How did you guys do?

Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?
The obstacle is the path.

Went to safeway ( 3 blocks away )   scored  some nice rib steaks  , took em home , fired up the barbque , made a lovely dinner for me n' my sweetie .  The only time I broke a sweat was during the piece of tail I got for cooking dinner.

Could not make it out yet this year , changed jobs, life , etc. Though draw tags I have last day is Dec 17 in 163.  But next year we are going to wainwright. Wheel the east side of the annex in deep snow and sand and do a little hunting.

My hunting partner missed his shot at a moose in Slave, but we both came home with respectable 5 x 6 white tail bucks and a mulie doe from the Nanton area.  Jan is my Elk hunt, so im hoping for a cold dec and warm jan :)

I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
