I am sure most of you know this jeep  :o. The plans are all done for the most part now parts are on order. Let the fun begin. Here is some of the plan . time to stretch it out 107 " wheel base (custom kit from rock krawler ) take out the 3" body lift plus cage and much much more .we installed the firelights today.
As it sits now

Old lights

New firelights www.fyrlyt.com

This is not the light turned on but just the flash back from the camera

Installed new H4 lens and HID's as well
More to come soon.

Time for some changes. Most of the removed parts will not be going back on and if they do they will be not the same  :o

New diffs

new diffs and new tires   is that just so you can move it in and out while working on the rock jocks

Updates still in the removal stage
Rear tire carrier removed and gas tank both will not be going back on

Lots of room under here now

One of the problem parts never to go back on

Found a broken bolt in a rear upper control arm

A few bent bump stops

Good thing we won't need them anymore
sway bar is out to never return.

Interesting way to hold down brake lines ?

Body lift out and body is now back on factory mounts. Tomorrow diffs and steering and suspention will be out.

Well at least it was held down with grade 8 hardware ;)
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
