SSRP Workbook Deadline Jan 15!!
« on: January 10, 2014, 11:48:00 AM »
The deadline for submitting South Saskatchewan Regional Plan phase 3 workbooks is on January 15th, 2014. We have created a workbook template to make it easier and less time consuming for everyone to fill out.

Here's what you do.
1.   Go to http://trails4tomorrow.ca/files/SSRP-Phase-3-Workbook.pdf and download the file.
2.   Go to https://www.banister.ab.ca/ssrpphase3/ and start the workbook.
3.   For each question in the online workbook refer to the corresponding question in the PDF. Some questions in the workbook may not have template responses because they are not directly relevant to us. You can choose to answer these on your own if you wish.
4.   Copy the response from the PDF into the online workbook. Note that if the answer spans two pages when you paste the text it may include the header and footer from the template. Simply delete this text and paste the rest of the appropriate text.
Feel free to answer the questions in the workbook on your own or modify the template responses if you want - just note the 800 character limit for most responses. What we've done is provide answers to make it as easy as possible for everyone to fill out the workbook in such a way that will allow us to continue to enjoy our beautiful backcountry while also improving the trail system.

Last chance!  If you haven't completed the work book, please take the time to do so.  The more people who fill it in with the same message makes our voice that much louder to ensure we have good trails for our (and our children's) future.

PLEASE do this guys.  It takes about 20 mins of just copy and pasting.
On a side note... Whoever did the actual work on this, my hat is off to you

Thank you

Mike

Just got this email. An extension on submissions till feb 28. Lets do this again for those of you who missed or want to do another with thought.

Albertans now have until February 28, 2014 to provide their feedback on the draft South Saskatchewan Regional Plan. This plan is a comprehensive response to the important challenges we face in southern Alberta and we have heard from Albertans  they would like more time to study the draft and provide their feedback.

You may provide your feedback through our online workbook, available at www.landuse.alberta.ca

All Albertans have a voice in the development of regional plans and the government is committed to hearing from as many people as possible. It is still our intent to release the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan in the spring of 2014.
