I wanted to let your club know that Calgary ATV Riders Association will be out at the Ghost/Waiparous are this weekend (May 31 & Jun 1) doing some stewardship on the trails. We will be focusing on the meadow creek trail between WP 91 & WP 125 as well as between WP125 & WP127 (see reference image). We are aware that this trail is a multi-use trail but due to the snow and use in the past few years it has become dangerous for our family riders. We will be draining and smoothing out the larger holes and fixing washouts using picks, shovels and physical strength.
If you could distribute this email throughout the truck community to let people know to be aware that we will be out there, to use caution, and if possible to reframe from using this trail while we are working on it the club would appreciate your help.
Signs will be posted throughout the immediate area letting people know volunteers are in the area doing trail maintenance.
