CNP OHV Survey
« on: March 31, 2015, 11:53:25 PM »
The Southern Alberta Coulee Kruzers spent a bit of time this past year meeting with Sarah and helping her understand trucks and jeeps are part of the OHV community. She has a survey online and if you are interested in participating the link is in her introduction below. You may have to copy and paste the link.

Thanks

Stephen

Dear Alberta Off-Highway Vehicle recreationist,

I am studying off highway vehicle use in the Crowsnest Pass as part of completing a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Economics from the University of Alberta. The information that I collect may be helpful both for local user groups and for local government bodies in discussions about OHV use in the area.

As you might know, there has been a lot of discussion about what off-highway vehicle use should look like in the Crowsnest Pass area (dirtbikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other vehicles driven off-road). However, up until now there has not been a lot of research on how many users there are in the area, how far they are travelling, how frequently they visit, or how much people value the area.

If this topic personally interests you, below is a link to participate in an anonymous survey, which would take about 30 minutes to complete. If you participate, you can opt-in to receive a summary of the information I receive from everyone who has completed the survey. As well, you can also enter into a prize draw for several gift certificates to Canadian Tire.

Last week, some of you might also have received another survey link, if I interviewed you in person last summer, and you said that you would be interested in completing a follow-up survey.  In that case, there is no need to fill out the survey below. On the other hand, please feel free to forward this email to any other people you know who might be interested in it!

Your results will only be recorded if you click on the ‘submit’ button on the last page of the survey.

If you can complete this survey within 48 hours of receiving it, that would be much appreciated. Every additional person who completes the survey will help to strengthen the final results.

Thank you very much for your help!

Sincerely,

Sarah Prescott

Submitted.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
