VHS to DVD, how to?

I have a really cool old school video on VHS and would like to get it switched to DVD, how do I do that?

I have a DVD recorder that you can have. its been collecting dust in my garage taking up space.

hook your VCR into the input jacks hit play on VCR and record on the DVD recorder.
