Ed Gregor Stewardship Day - June 6 - 7:30 AM - Blairmore SRD Station

The Southern Alberta Coulee Kruzers have participated in Ed Gregor Stewardship Day since its inception. It is a chance for users to give back to the forest and spend some time cleaning up and/or participating in enhancement projects for the backcountry trails.

Due to the past flooding and other projects currently underway by SRD there won't be a lot of enhancement projects this year but there are opportunities to clean up trails and random camp areas.

The event is organized by the Crowsnest Forest Stewardship Society, of which I sit as a Director representing four wheel drive users. If anyone in this group is interested in participating we would be glad to have you along - the more the merrier.

There is a facebook page - if you ask to join it there is further information. Hopefully the link below works. If not just search Crowsnest Forest Stewardship Society.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1574972716124900/

We also have a brand new webpage set up at

http://crowsnestforest.org/

We will require that anyone participating with the Coulee Kruzers sign our insurance waiver.

If you need further information regarding this activity or the Coulee Kruzers please feel free to drop me a PM or email to [email protected].

Thank you for posting this up Steve. Cja is doing a jeep 101 course this weekend, but there will be a group coming down to help out.

Leaving Alderside petrocan for 8 am Saturday June 6. We will be doing some random campsite cleanup off the ftr , plus some trail clean up. Not stock friendly. Trails will be scenic.
Come on out.
