Replacements for my GoodYear 31 X 10.5 R15s

Hi All,

My  Goodyear 31" tires are on their last legs and apparently Goodyear doesn't make them in Canada anymore.  I'd like to stick with the 31" tires, but would like some good AT tread on them.  Can anyone suggest a good replacement?  They are used about 70% street / highway and 30% off road.  Any help would be great.

Thanks Immortal.  I was just looking at Mickey Thompson Baha MTZs which I like.  I'll take a look at the BFGs as well, but any feedback on the MTs?

Goodyear duratracs

I think this is the first "what tire should I run" post this year.
Ive used BFG at's, mickey Thompson mtz's, Cooper stt's, old goodyear mtr. I still prefer the Cooper STT for all around use. It worked very well in the mud, rocks, street, snow and ice. If you want an agressive all terrain tire the toyo open country at 2 extreme is a great option.
Are you looking for 31x10.50R15? Or a metric version on 16" rims?

I run the Toyo AT2s on the truck.  decent tires. they'll last forever on your jeep.

Run the Kelly tsr. It's an aggressive all terrain.  It doesn't chunk out on gravel and works everywhere. Better sidewall than the duratrac.  Or for a regular at take a look at the Kumho at51. Great price and they work very well on a jeep. I put a st on the kids jeep and had sold a ton of them before I got out of the shop that I started. Customers loved them.

I'm  in the same boat, I'm looking for a good set mult-use 33" tires. I'm considering Duratracs, Cooper STTs, and the Mickey Thomson MTZs.

The I'm concerned the Duratracs are too tight of a tread for the mud and Moab wheeling I have in mind.

I like the Cooper STT, I had a set of the STs on my last dually truck and was really impressed with the winter traction of them. The STTs look like a more aggressive version of them. These are probably my first choice but....

The Mickey Thompsons are a very similar tread and about $50 cheaper per tire(based on Canadian Tire online pricing) so I may have to look a bit more closely at them.

I can't believe how much the price jumps to go from a 15" rim to a 16" or 17"! Like $60 a tire! Should they cost less since the hole in teh middle is bigger so it uses less material?   

Fortunately I'm not in a rush so I can watch for something to go on sale or maybe find a good Kijiji deal.
