Anyone with a Rubicon looking to go to 4.56 gears?
« on: May 18, 2016, 08:49:39 PM »
So here is what I am thinking about doing....

I have a 2013 JKUR and I had 4.56 gears installed by 4 Wheel Parts in 2014.  I love the gearing but as most of you know I am stripping it and hoping the Jeep Truck comes out soon....  :)

I am looking for someone with a 2012 - 2016 Rubicon that currently has 4.10 gears.

What this would be is a direct swap of both front and rear axles (housings and all).

My factory housing has the following:

- G2 Dana 44 JK Front Reverse 4.56 Ratio Gears
- G2 Dana 44 JK Rear 4.56 Ratio Gears
- G2 Dana 44 JK Rubicon Front Master Install Kit
- G2 Dana 44 JK Rubicon Rear Master Install Kit
- Alloy JK Dana 44 Red Outer Axle Tube Seals
- Front and Rear Lower Control Arm Skids

These above listed parts are $1,444.73 including tax.

This will work for an automatic, manual, 2 door or 4 door.

My housing has also had the front wheel bearings replace within the last year, as well I will be installing new front upper and lower ball joints within the next week.  I change the diff fluid regularly and only use Amsoil Synthetic.

I am looking for $1,600 for this deal.  With labour and shop supplies you would be over $2,500 for this at the shop.

I also bought the 4 Wheel parts warranty which should be transferable but that would have to be confirmed.

Please do not attempt to low ball me or make negative comments. :)

Please call or text as that is the fastest way to get me.

Thanks,

Dwayne

Ok so I found out the axle housings are the same from 2007 - 2016.
So anyone with those years that are interested I am going to drop to $1,300. That is basically half price.
