New Castle provincial park and wildlands

Today at 11pm Notley will be announcing the new parks. They still have to go through the legislative assembly to pass.
Do not know what we all be losing for summer access.
Believe there will be a user fee or some other funding mechanism to make the trails sustainable.  Ie bridges.  Lets hope this funding mechanism will be using in the ssrp area to help preserve more trails.
So with trail closures this puts more pressure on other areas.
Thus leading to more trail closures.
It is to bad the science behind all this is fundamentally flawed.

There is a survey. Lets all read the draft plan and voice your concerns.

It also looks like they are planning rules this year for everything else between the new park and Kananaskis.  If you download the big map it shows a "Livingstone and Porcupine Hills Priority Planning Area" with text describing that they will be introducing new rules this year.
