Garage clean out (axle, fan, rims, steering box)
« on: January 24, 2017, 08:05:07 AM »
My garage is ready to explode. So, the following items are for sale --

1) Dana 44 front axle from a 1981 Wagoneer. Driver's drop, 95% disassembled but complete out to the hubs. Needs a complete rebuild and gears (unless you want a 2.70 ratio for some reason). 6x5.5 bolt pattern, one flat-top knuckle and steering arm for high-steer. $150

No picture because it's wrapped in a tarp and stored behind my garage until someone wants it. It looks like a wrapped-up corpse standing there, if that illustrates things any better.

2)  "The venerable" Ford Taurus e-fan. Not hacked up, no howls or bearing noise. Works great. It's used, but it's never been installed in a project. Moves more hot air than a politician. $30

3) Four 16x7 black steel rims from a 3G 4Runner. 6x5.5 bolt pattern. Come with mismatched tires that hold air and are good for rollers, but not much else. The rims could use paint, but no rust beyond stone chips. Don't need sandblasting. $75

4) 1987 Nissan Pathfinder steering box. I don't know much about it, but it operates smoothly. Very beefy. Would be good if you're ditching your rack and pinion steering during a solid axle project. FREE (or bring me a beer)

No pic because it's packed away too. It's definitely a steering box.

There might be more coming as the cleaning rampage continues.
