Graveltravels tinworm CJ 7
« on: April 09, 2018, 10:16:00 PM »
Hey guys. Lurked around here on and off. Think my last build post was my flaming jku. That thing was great, till it tried to kill me. Immortal reminded me that CJA still exists, and that I should really get my hind end in gear and apply for membership. Now to actually make a meeting.

Anyways, after the jku fried and died, I decided to build up my CJ 7. And use it. And abuse it. To the point where it's now in full on frame off fix. Not restore. Gonna wheel this thing. Just need it semi reliable, and a little more capable. So, some pics.

All this took its tol on her.

I found a donor motor, and other parts and pieces, this was a 350sbc. Downfall to this is the TH350 paired with an NP205. Not much for low gearing. I'll be looking for a 700R4, and mate up one of my D300's at some point.

Stripped her down, and of course, have a couple body mounts that need attention.

Removed the YJ windshield, and tailgate. Going to use all CJ stuff. Have to graft in the CJ cowl, in place of the YJ

Man, let me know what you have. I'm always looking. The way I drive, I tend to wreck things!!
