This is such sad and devastating news.  John was such a great guy.  I was supposed to be meeting with him next week, he has been lending me his financial expertise in planning for my retirement and saving for my 5 year olds education. I first met him 10 years ago, in a parking lot in Canmore, buying some parts of course (Nicole and Sandy chatting about the challenges of life with Jeep guys no less lol).  Since then, I spent a number of afternoons chatting in his garage and hanging out.  I still have a huge pile of YJ spare parts that he basically gave me for nothing when he sold the YJ and bought the JK.  Just a couple weeks ago I was picking up parts from Dave and Broken axle and our conversation strayed, as Calgary jeep related discussions often do, to discussing John and his gregarious nature.  He was the one guy on CJA that I really became friends with and I am going to miss him, my heart goes out to Nicole and Liberty.  RIP my friend
