So my poor ole 98 ZJ has started down the path of the dreadful 2-3 slip. Currently has a 44re which from a lot of reading comes from the factory with a bad flaw in which causes these issues.
I'm now in the market for either a new transmission or a reliable rebuilder that understands these but the catch is always the same... money and costs.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a place in Alberta or perhaps Canada that sells transmissions and would possibly do a payment setup? Or the alternative would be to get my 44re rebuilt but under the same premise with a builder who knows them but would also do a payment plan?
Or is this a pipe dream and I'll have to save up my pennies?
