I read a press release saying that the Gladiator is on hold indefinitely.  Too bad, I love it too.

sure hope someone takes one for a spin and posts, a 4+ page article ( 7 rubi's all config's taken to africa ) in jpmag implies its an improvement over the tj rubi in several areas, but the new eng raised an eyebrow as not having any grunt down low with lotsa rpm required and too small for the 4dr model ...

They've got a 2 door here in town now.  Didn't see it up close.  Looks good from a distance though.  I'd take one.

I was all into the JK till i read this:

1. Evidently DC in their infinite wisdom have decided to 'integrate' everything. That being said, you used to be able to just throw a hardtop on, plug in the harness for the rear defrost, wiper, and it'd work. That's not the case anymore. Upon installation, the local hack (I mean tech), must 'reflash' the computer to 'accept' that it's got a hardtop and the assorted new goodies. Problem is, the computer did NOT accept the flash. Various managers of different persuasions were all on the phone with DC's tech support to get the issue resolved. Evidently the computer says "Uh, that option didn't come from the factory, you cannot add that". Anyway, that was Friday, still not resolved although I DO have the Jeep. I just don't have any rear junk working.

Well, I finally saw one! I was waiting in line outside Mother's Music (for a Vinnie Paul meet and greet), when I saw a black 4 door JK drive by. It didn't look too bad. My buddy thought it was an H3, and to be honest, it really did look like an H3 from a distance. If I am ever in the market for a 4 door vehicle, I'd definately pick one up. I wouldn't take a 2 door model over a TJ though.... I'm guessing it came from Eastside, as it was less than a block away. I wish I got a picture of it, but by th etime I got the camera out, the KJ had passed....... And then it started to hail.... :(

Regardless, I keep meaning to head over to eastside with the camera...... There are like a billion pictures of them floating around, but a few more can never hurt!

mine fully loaded rubicon Unlimited 4 door with painted fenders to match (extra) with the gps (extra $2,500) was around $38,000. I put down $15,000 on it so my payments are like $230/month. I dont know what they would be with zero down but I'd guess around $500. I dont acctually get it for another couple of weeks but i will post pics as soon as i get it.
