On April 30th I won an auction for fender flares on Ebay. The seller was planet_jeep.
I paid for the flares next day with paypal. I used my bank account and not my Visa. Always use your credit card as they will help when someone tries to rip you off. A month goes by and I am still waiting for my flares so I send a couple of emails to inquire but they do not respond. Time is going by fast as I am out of town for work. It is now late June and I send another Email and get a response saying they are sorry and will look into it. Another week and I again email them and Planet_Jeep says they are sent. I get a tracking number and they sent them to the wrong address, even though they have the correct address, ebay has the correct address and so does paypal.
Months of emails and phone calls and these guys will not even respond to me. So I decide to make another purchase from them so they will have to contact me. Oh I forgot to mention that if you do not file complaints within 60 days of purchase with ebay and paypal they pretty much don't give a crap. I left bad feedback with my second purchase and this finally gets them talking. They leave my feedback saying that I did not pay shipping to Canada. The price of the flares was $227.00 US and I paid what they requested, which was $326.80 US.
It is now October 23 and I still have nothing.

They do alot of business on Ebay and also rip alot of people off

Yeah, just checked out the item...Major thing to look at on ebay is feedback, and with all the negative that guy had, i sure wouldnt be risking my money.

Paypal has some sort of protection up to 1200 bucks if you use your bank account...i would look into it. I know the last item i bought said it was coverd, but not if you use credit card.

Hope you get it figured out. Really sucks to heard crap like that happening.

good to know. keep up with the fight and nail them with your negative feedback. That'll drive them nuts and likely be your only way to resolve the issue. Put something like... "blatantly anti-Canadian"

Sorry to hear about your bad experience... I was actually gonna order some tuffy door lockers from them (planetjeep) this week maybe. But I have never ordered anything off the net, so have been kinda skeptical!!!!

I was going to order something from them too, kinda glad I didn't...

Let us know if they correct there errors and make it up to you.

You should give them a link to this thread, and make another one on some other site, see if they respond to some more bad publicity

Contact PayPal ASAP, explain the situation, and see if they will do anything.
Paypal can really screw up someones online business if paypal blacklists them.......
