I have heard some talk about someone or a group of people in the states puting viper engines in there jeeps..WOW that would be quite a feat, for sure it would be for the ultimate jeeping experience, but that also brings me to the jeep hurricane..two 360s on the jeep it self...man it would be great if the hurricane was in full production..(they have many patents on it from what i have read) new drive systems and such..maybe if someone can post pics or some vids..ive checked youtube..but thats the extent of my search..thanks

cool but I mean rather useless isnt it? first if your going for speed, I would put it in something thats not as aero-dynamic as a brick, second if your going for power, how fast do you need mud to fling out of your tires??

Sure you should, if it wasn't for our grandparents and parents  pushing the envelope of jeeping we'd all be driving jeeps with 4 cylinders and really small tires.

I'm sure some one said the same thing about the first guy who dropped in a Chevy 350.

My 2cents again... for whats it worth...

A 350 is a much more reasonable option.

If ya really wanted  something different try a 4BT.

i saw a Viper done back in 2000 at Just Jeeps in T.O.

Ran Thornbirds :lol:

If it was done, than AXLES will need to be upgraded to 1 ton.

There is a guy on the Rubi form putting a Ramjet350 in right now.
There is also a guy on Jeepkings that just finished a Diesel swap...very KEWL!!!

I just read a fullsize pickup diesel in the 6L variety weighs in at about 1000 lbs ... I believe the 4L weighs about 450 lbs +/- 25lbs ...

nv4500 is about 200 lbs while the rubi nv3550 is 100 lbs ... and for the record I tip the scales at +200 lbs   :lol:
