Will a head from a 94xj 40 work on a 92 yj 4.0 HO??? Can someone please let me know Thanks Very Much

yuppers it should, check the head casting number, probably be 0630, the number will be on the top of the head, next to the valve cover, should be visible without taking stuff apart...

91-95 4L should be casting #7120 (HO) which covers both your jeep and donar so as Mr.B said check midway along drivers side where valve cover meets block ... its clearly visible in good light , the following article suggests there are benefits/less issues sticking with your current head design ... if it is a #7120 you'll want to stick with it ...

I believe 96 upto 98 4L used #0630 and then changed up again for 99 onward ...
