my gf lindz has a 2000 clasic xj 4dr it has a 6in lift cut out bushwacker flairs and 33in 13.5 ltbs and she can stuff them good. still only has about 4to 5in of up travelbut lots of down travel with the clayton arms.
im runnin a limited xj 4dr with 6in of lift yjflairs and lots of fender trimin to fit 36in 11..5 tsls it works good with minimal rubbin on whoops at faster speeds and i need sum spacers to get sum turning back when my front is stuffed. im also runnin clayton long arms.
just to give an idea. no problem if you cut the fenders alot. if not like 10 in of lift ::) yikes

Sport and classic = no difference. They started using the sport to annotate 6cylinder and to jack the insurance payments required

I am running 33" rubber on mine, with 5.5" of lift and i can still stuff them to the point of no steering capabilities.... and it bit me in the arse a few weekends ago (pics to prove too... :o >:(). my plan is to run 35" tires... with longer bump-stops.

running 33 have 4.5 inches of lift rear yj flairs on back and rear tj flares on front ,clearanced fenders ,not bump stopped yet .have room for 35s. Lift is a rough country 4.5 x series with drop brackets. Suspension travel is comparable to long arm. Drives awesome and full steering at drop. actual measured lift using measurement from naxja is 5.25 in front and 5 in the back.

Ok first off let me be the first to say 35's on Stock axel parts may be a touch taxing for stock stuff,..
Now that being said I ran 33's with approx 5.5" and trimming,.. I run 35's now but my combo won't help you much lift suggestion wise,.. not much stock stuff left.
