Title: JK future engines

Well, I test drove a JK Rubicon 6 spd the other day, thought it was a fantastic rig but the one thing really holding me back is the 3.8L mini van engine.  I think there is a chip out there that gives er 20 hp, but I was wondering in anyone has read about a diesel or v8 engine in the near future.

I've seen the grand cherokees with a 3.0 diesel,.. maybe ask the dealership?

As far as I can tell the 2.8L Diesel from the European Wrangler is being tested in the USA.
