Slowly working on my rig
Still have a bad waterpump,.. but I'll get to that later
For dunl - he wanted to see some pics,.. I only have progress pics,.. lately the sawzall and grinder have been my favourite tools of choice during the lift
and Jeepster might recognize the white rims which came out nice with a little gunmetal paint and rockguard ;)
fyi: my daughter is 7 and comes up to almost my chest

Sweet. If you need a water pump, I have one from my old 4.0L that I bought brand new and used for about 6 months before it blew, PM if interested.

5 cans high.....nice. ;D
On the previous vehicles shawn and I used to have fun with,.. was how low,.. meaning approx only 1 can off the ground,.... sideways,... LOL
-
Almost ready for the road!
Waterpump is done,.. clocked the rear axle a couple degrees,.. just have to do the rear DS now.
-
now you can drive over my old car with the jeep.. if i still had it ::)
-
Dropped the t-case 1" and finally drove it out of the garage
tires are really noisey :D,.. steering feels a bit laggy,.. I guess that comes with the territory of bigger tires.
just have to route the exhaust a bit better,.. but I can drive it.
Will take it for a city cruise tonight to make sure all the kinks and quirks are out

I hate deerfoot!!!!

I believe it's the rubicon 4" express lift springs,.. (these were used - I'm told the part #'s on the springs were matching the rubicon lift)
-
Now I feel a little safer ;)
need to weld a frame for a set of guide rollers for the winch,.. but the winch is bolted to the frame via 1" square tube steel and welded to the front bumper

This is Jay's old winch that was on his power wagon,.. but the poor sucker got twisted,.. I dissassembled as much as I could and replaced what parts I could find and cleaned up others.
It works,.. but sounds terrible,.. but I think it'll do in a pinch if things get hectic. (75' of 3/8" steel cable with a 16,000lb block/hook should be ok for a dying winch)
