I WISH we could wheel at Sunshine. Talk about rock crawling  ;D

I'm eager to see what this year has in store in terms of snow...it's starting to look like I'll be able to get in a reasonable number of days on skis, unlike the last few years.

I wouldn't mind getting on some slopes this year.. i've been trying to go boarding for the last 2 winters but it never works out...

Keep your shirts on kids ;), I don't get excited about skiing until the mountain in fully open, at least 90% of the runs are open and there is a good base, minimal rocks and lots of fresh powder.  That is the time to go.  I usually get the Louise ski card, often the Sunshine card and maybe even the Kicking Horse card which is the best deal.  If you want to save money, see the countryside in winter, and get a great cardio workout - try cross country skiing, both classic and skate skiing.
