Title: New Jeep in the family
Post by: WagoneerXJ on October 17, 2008, 08:28:37 PM
Dad and I just picked this up...right now it's for him to drive in the winter, but after that we may do a few little things to it.

1982 Cherokee Chief 2dr. 360/4spd. 132,000 kms.

I too like those brutes, perhaps more so in the J20 pickup version but how can you argue with the mileage on that wagon?

Couple thoughts:

I'm coming to more appreciate some of the "decal" packages of that era while not being a decal person. Anyone remember some of those early Chevy Blazer decal treatments?

And, I too would like to see more of that Rover in the background at the home of the firewood king.

Yea it's actually in pretty good shape. Bit of rust starting in a few areas, but NO holes or anything yet. Been parked since 1999.

That's my neighbour with the Land Rover. He loves those old things. Had a couple over the years. Guy beside him has a couple as well, one being a green pickup model with a diesel in it :)
