bored so thought I'd ask the question "what major improvements would you consider are keepers over the past 60 years in jeeps ?"
fuel injection is at top of my list ...
did you know early designs had some cool features, like they produced 50+ 4wheel steering units in the '40s ...

round headlights... or return to ...

square headlights rule! lol!!!
i think the fullsize jeeps were cool, and the trucks.
after 50 plus years they stuck with a winning combination, small, light, 4wd, solid axles. and nobody else makes anything that can touch them anymore.
its gotta count for sumthin;)

you said it

I'll add slinky coil suspension though there is a reason trucks still hav'them in the rear ...
in the 40's through 60's pto usage was common for these little warriors, if they had kept that feature then
today we could be mowing our lawn with our jeep .. I know I would :)

IFS - LOL.

power steering ;D ;D ;D ;D
Wish that they had kept the 4 wheel steering option. imagine the turning radius you could get out of those puppies. ::)
