Title: block heater?

hey, how do you install a block heater? simple as draining the coolent then putting it in? how do you get the freeze plug out?
for a 95 yj 2.5 l

pry the frost plug out with a flat screw driver.  i've hammered a screwdriver into it and then pried it out.

if you open the tabs on the block heater and have it ready, you can quickly put it in while only losing a litre or two of fluid.  just leave the rad cap on so it drains slower.

just have to have something to catch the fluid

yup
it goes in a Frost plug hole so iff your coolant was to freeze it would just push it out befor the blok craks.
or sumthin like that. ;D

OK maybe I am the only one who likes the coolant heat pumps,.. screw trying to get the frost plug out,.. cut your rad hose put it in line and heat the whole engine and not just one spot,...

$50-60 + 2 hose clamps, and a splash of coolant
