just wondering what the best fluid id for the ax5. gonna change mine soon.
thx
-
good question i would like to know as well..fluid changes this weekend ;D

Any full synthetic gear oil is good. I use Redline in my AX-15 but Royal Purple is also popular. When I switched to Redline, it made a huge difference in the tranny. Smoother shifts, quieter and in my opinion very well worth it

I use Quaker state 75 w 90 full synthetic , you canget it at Napa

can somone inform me where i can get all my fluids changed from front to rear.. and which fluid is best for dif as well.. preferably a place in airdrie.. but if none here i can go to calgary.. i imagine somone will say dealership.. and if price quote if possible.. i doubt that though

do them your self its cheaper and its the same quality of work if not better ..
unless you warried about warrenty then mr lube or something
dealerships just (parden my words) bend you over and give it to you hard
-
i unfortunately don't have the proper tools.. or knowledge to do it myself.. yet ;) (will learn eventually).. but no warranty so i don't have to worry about the dealerships

you can stop in at any jeep dealership and get the info, they can tell you the exact fluid you'll need. and then you can decide if you'd like their product of go aftermarket.
