Title: Boxing day is dead
Post by: WhiteOut on December 26, 2008, 03:40:17 AM
Well, its about 4AM and I am one of only 10 cars in the parking lot at Future Shop.  I though that I would be waiting in line but I guess thats not the case, no one wants (relatively) cheap plasmas and computers.  Im just glad I got the car adapter for the laptop and the tech guys at Future shop dont bother to secure the wifi.  Merry Christmas and happy boxing day savings everyone!!

Now we just need Modern and National to ahve a sale on Dec 26 lol

i think i broke a new record ...      woke up at 10 ... took a shower ... went to future shop and canadian tire  , back home at  11.         i cheated at future shop , i have a friend who works there so he put aside what i wanted and didn't have to wait in line  ;D.      Canadian tire was just dead ...  no line ups at all

the 42" Plasma is Dynex

never heard of it,.. but I like the display quality compared to the LCD ones that were on display for $200 more

paid $599 - there were only 8 available

the next comparible lcd ones start at 799 that I liked,.. and plasmas were over 1000

damn,.. this makes me remember what I paid for my 27" waaay back over 10 years ago - $700 (retired it this xmas)
