Has anyone any experience doing this I have a good AMC360/TF727/Dana 300 setup that I want to put in a YJ frame and before I get started thought I would test the field to get input Thanks in advance

start lookin for the adapters. adance adapters or novak, if neither have then you're on your own. and from what ive heard they suggest using GM or Ford
engines to swap as they are usually easier. but, you allready have the engine combo so you may end up with custom mounts.

Get some of these mounts from AA:

You will have to build a transmission crossmember. Also a front diff with PS drop is required, but I am sure you already know that.
A friend of mine did almost the exact swap in his YJ and went easy.

Your NP231 will bolt up to the AMC trans, and for that matter the YJ trans would too!
You wouldn't have to swap out the front diff if you used the YJ T-case.

Thanks Guys
I think I'm going to go with the AA adapters for the 150 it will save alot of headaches. Yeh I already have the diffs they are from a 79 Chevy 3/4 ton Pass drop 44 and 14bolt. SOA on heavy 4 1/2" YJ lift springs. The motor tranny trans combo is coming out of my CJ7. I like the motor its been really reliable for me.

sounds like a cool swap. but you do know that with a spring over and 4.5" lift springs will get you about 9" of lift! big lift for big tires i guess;)
