Post by: JasonL_031 on January 29, 2009, 08:58:07 PM
does anyone know of someone who does camper modifications i have a 08 baja 10 y and i want to take off the standard ball hitch and put on a pintle or something that would allow me to actually take my camper to more remote areas  with 360 ish degrees of movement

so i can do stuff like this

they sell all that stuff at PA if your handy you could probably do it in a day just measure your frame size and then go grab the stuff.  I am looking at doing the same to ours, but mines not as cool or new as yours.  I'll let you know how it goes but wont be doing it till april or may, its in storage till then.

If you want to make a similar hitch as this one: http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoTrailercoupling.htm
I have a piece of Durapreen (or whatever that stuff is called) about 18" long that I had molded specifically to make that hitch with.
should be enough to make about 4 hitchs.

I paid $80.00 bucks for it and will sell for $35.00.
