ok, so heres the story, yesterday was going up small hill on the deerfoot, slowed down to 80, no biggie, but once i got to top of the hill wasn't speeding up (was in cruise control) then took over myself, floored it, no speed increase, so pulled off to find my back brakes smoking and very hot (could smell something in cab), was able to get her home no problem, so took vice grips and hit them with hammer while on the e brake cable to make sure it wasn't that, had no issue this morning going to Calgary and back twice, but then on my drive i could smell it and burnt alot of gas, i then was driving later and it did the exact same thing again :o.. anyone have an idea what that could be??, thinking its ebrake as it has locked on wayyy back when

bad cylinders or poorly lubed e brake cable, weak return spring....... Hard to tell without taking the drums off.
