They arent mounted yet, he needs rims. Anyone got some cheep 5x4.5 rims for the lad? tj take offs? Also needs 3" blocks for the rear.
-
ya know,.. those baja claws - because I siped them - handle waaay better than the mtr's I have on now
-
Well im going to need new rims eventually but these will work for now.. got the tires on finally.. time for the cut-off wheel to come out

Sweet man, I can hear your LCA's screaming already! :D
With cutting your front will be all good at 3", but unless you cut past the pinch welds in the back it'll prob rub once in a while on the trail! Nothin' the tires cant take... :P
-
i have aftermarket LCA's goin in and ill adjust my steering stops so they dont rub the LCA's.. i have a welder so i can put the winch seams back together ;D i wanna go 5" but dont want to do an SYE
-
did you lift the back yet?
-
I liked it better with the stock gold rims...lol
Nicely done Mudhawg, It's pretty sweet watching a jeep grow up & not to mention in a short period of time.
Kudos...
-
Diggin the lightbar Dougy. Must a cool mofo that hooked you up with that unit......:)
By the way, bring that fan over when you get chance.
-
Ill try to bring that by ASAP for ya mang
-
Nice looking XJ Doug... now we can go wheel and put your own Jeep on the side ;)...
you'll make some winch bitch cry like a little girl ;D... it's pay back time!
Keep on the good work!
-
Thanks Dom ;D go try to climb an extremely icy hill or try to climb a rut where it feels like the jeeps gunna go over backwards... seems thats how it was when i winch bitch for you hahaha
-
I don't know how you turn those tires! I had to do some minor cutting on the passenger side of my XJ because the 31's rubbed with a 3". :o
-
douggie, get that rear lift finished, it looks like your fenders are sitting on the tires!
-
In my opinion, you need coil spacers and rear add a leafs for those 33's. I have both for sale if you interested. If not and you want to keep the COG, get out the sawzall.....
-
well the rear has no lift in it yet... im not into technical wheelin so dont need much flex
-
ahhh so what kinda wheelin you into dougie? Becuse you have a rig that is good on technical,.. not so great in the mud,...
-
it'll work just takes a bit of right foot... im not into rollin my stuff so technical aint fun for me
-
weird how your cool with the right foot and bustin parts but u don't wanna get any dents?????
get the lift in buddy it'll look better and ride better. like that you'll be rubbing on speed bumps!
-
ive stuffed the front tire right up no issue rear end rubs but its all good for bootin down the alley in the snow banks
-
some non crappy pics

Doug,
If you don't want to do the blocks or add a leaves; you could look into doing a budget bastard pack. I think you could go to the wreckers and get s-10 or Dakota leaves for cheap.
I believe this will work if you mix and match some leaves. Do some measuring. Has anyone else tried this?
-
he will still need longer ubolts after that............................
and it would ride like a dump truck i would assume.
you could do a 2" shackle lift in the back doug. that'd be cheap too. an add a leaf is cheap too man. so are blocks and ubolts at modern.
you should try and get that thing lifted man, stock ride height and 33s aint' good!

Shackle relocation brackets, they will lift your arse end 1.5". Then lift shackles, and you will be good!!!!

bout time its almost done....

-
i heard you sold it? glad to see it with a rear lift!
-
Nice ride
-
so how did you do the back lift?
-
4" lift block
-
did u figure out why your 4" chev lift blocks made it sit 6" tall yet???????? hows your driveline angles on that douggie?
-
driveline angle is good no binding as the block are angled to compensate for the pinion angle.. just gunna toss a 2" spacer up front to level it out
-
4" lift block
Still stock leafs?
-
yup stock leafs with the block
-
Some pics from a good cam not my cell

-
i got em from a buddy outa his blazer.
-
Dude... aren't those blocks suppose to be bolted down?
-

-
waterpumps done no more cooling issues ;D
-
Cool....did you get anything from the PnP yesterday?
-
Well i took it out to maclean and had ZERO issues at all thing ran flawless only got stuck twice trying to crosscut deep ruts/1 mudhole got Warned by the RCMP on the way out for no mudflaps at the checkstop so guess ill rig some kind of quick disconects up for flaps also realized i need a swaybar back in this thing as its really tippy on the hiway as well as i need bumpstop extentions and offset wheels

Well it depends if i can get this tire swapped over... FYI the owner of the "POS blazer" is a member on here... traded my 2 12's/amps and such for them
