Title: No high idle

I have a 2000 tj 4 cyl ... The problem is that the engine does not high idle ever even at minus 30 ..... I have changed aic motor and the tps .... any other suggestions what might cause this  ???

cars still high idle?  i haven't seen that since my carburator days, unless it's a diesel.

It starts and runs at 800 rpm regardless of the outside temperature   ......  Any suggestions  ????

Honda's do a high idle until up to temp, not sure about jeeps... my xj doesn't do it.

My 4 banger YJ would idle at about 500 rpm regards of temp.  It sounds like you jeep is running fine

Mine is the same as everyone elses,.. even in the coldest of temps,.. still idles under 1000 rpm
