Title: CJ5 4 wheel disc conversion
Post by: trackerthrasher on November 01, 2005, 09:10:15 PM
I just bought a 76 cj5 (4 drums)and am giong to need some newer front disc components from a cj5 or cj7...if anyone knows of some other way or set-up from something else that will work better ,let me know.I read something about closed knuckel chev 44 outers(1973 'ish) that should work.In the back I have seen cadillac eldorado rear calipers/backing plates work.Any and all leads on parts or info appreciated. Thanks!

There's some good articles on pirate about those brake setups.

The eldorado's work, but can be a pita to adjust. There's another calipar with all the same measurements that will bolt up and doesnt have the ebrake adjustment. I'll link it for you if I see that thread again.

Found it, 90 S10 blazers work, and dont have the ebrake adjustment.
