It'll depend on what media you're blasting with....they're setup for a few different stations. I believe the hoppers they use are about 15-20' tall.

well i just came back from sandblasting, i was there for about an hour and i paid $77, i did my front axle and the rear axle and the front knuckles. its a bit pricey, but its nice to do it your self and pay attention to detail, i got into every tight spot to make sure i did not miss anything.

Just out of curiosity... why not just use a grinder with a wire brush and some flap disks?  I've done a few axles that way and they turn out pretty decent.  Maybe just me but hauling an axle off somewhere to sandblast it seems as much work as an hour or 2 with grinder.

it was just way less work for me, with the carrier, knuckles and axles removed the assembly does not way much, it would take me a lot longer with a wire wheel to do both axles and knuckles, and i got in and underneath all the spring perches and all the areas that it would be tougth to get a wire wheel into.
