like it sais, what would you drive? if you didnt dump all that cahs into a jeep, what vehicle would that cash go into? muscle car? sporty car? big truck? toyota?

well had my run with jeep, id do it again if it didnt cost soo much, now its economical vehicle, with some power, but if i was to build an off roader again it would deff. be a truck, bit of a fool for a dakota, but deff. going for ''sporty'' car now.

If I don't drive my Willys, I'd drive the Liberty. If I don't drive the Liberty, I take the 1 ton Dodge 3500 CTD. If I don't drive the Dodge, I drive the wife's VW TDI Jetta.
Barring that, I grab a beer, head to the garage, and make "vroom vroom" sounds in the cab of the CJ3B project. 8)
If my name was fug, if I didn't drive the jeep, I'd drive the jeep or the jeep or the jeep or the jeep or the jeep or the...... :D

I'd drive a Land Rover Defender 90 on 37's with a Jaguar V-12.
Edit: with a supercharger, portal axles, and a military-grade central tire pressure system.

F150 super crew fx4 with lots of options, add a supercharger, maybe slightly bigger AT's. More room for the kids and dog and could haul stuff too (road trips to the folks and hunting). It'd probably replace the wj and not the tj though, I'm too attached to that thing.

I just don't have enough $$. Space is not an issue.... if you have $$ you can buy space.

Dunl... I actually have more than just jeeps! Have a Ford 1ton to tow jeeps :P , a 66 Ranchero for summer cruising, a baja bug project and a couple street bikes and the girlfriend has an HHR.

sorry say what you want about 'gone in 60 seconds' but trust me i've had a hard on for this car for years.
OR.......................... a beat up old CJ-5 on 32s barely running, no roof, no doors, the 'beater' (this i would drive if i were rich lol)

i think optimum choice would be a Chev Duramax.... 6" 37s modded out....... be my winter driver and my tow rig... i'd drive it every day.....

im partial to the STI. my buddy and i competed in our first rally the other weekend so we are planning either WRX or an STI.
but im kind of a collector. i own my YJ, my 2001 ram 1500 4x4 daily driver/future tow rig, 1985 ford f150 2wd (future long travel suspesnion). a mustang is in my future. im aiming at a 1978 king cobra, a 1992 hatch back with a 1983 svt front clip on it, a 2001 svt cobra (terminator), and elenore would be a nice addition as well. a 1978 f-250 hi-boy 4x4, a similar bronco, a 1996 f350 4x4 would be cool too. a 1982 ford f150 reg cab short box 2wd, lowered, chop the roof off, and keep as a slick little pick up. oh, and a 1980 dodge mirada(dont ask why) of ocurse a early eighties toyota pick up and maybe a couple samurais. an early eighties toyota cressida with a supra turbo drivetrain sleeper.
now, i think i need a lottery ticket.
oh, and a 2door jk with a big cube hemi and a go-cms suspension.
and a pantera.
then i would be ok. i stil wouldnt buy a TJ or a GM!!!!! lol!!!

My first car was a 76 mustang II Cobra, white with blue racing stripes. The 5L had been rebuilt/cam'd a bit, dualed out with flowmasters. The whole car shook on idle. and it sounded really good....... to be young again, or old enough to afford a new one :) *edit* it was rusty, nothing special, but it was a fun first car.

well my jeep is usually parked and i drive my vw or f150 as a daiily driver. But the car that gets me a little excited is the new cadillac cts v, basically a 4 door luxury vette.

And to add to this with a slightly off topic question.
If Chrysler goes ahead with their threat to pull all the manufacturing plants out of canada, will you buy another jeep? Or will you just buy a Tacoma as Toyota seems willing to build in CANADA.

i like tacomas when they done up, they cool to make into a trophy trucks too, that would be awesome to build 8)

If I had room and space, I'd toss the 03 Dodge 3500 to throw a Cummins diesel into a 1938 Dodge 1 ton, put the Willys on a flat deck, and make it a tow rig.....driving to the staging area would be as enjoyable as off-roading.

Bored with it? :o The best part about a car that spends about 5 months garaged is you really appreciate it when it goes back on the road. Brought her back out last weekend 8)

I would start with a pile of tubing for the chase. A Cat Zoom Boom that will donate the engine – small perkapillar, Transmission – Power-shift with auto in the high speeds and front and rear diff’s – 4 wheel steer, pivot in at the center line, and planetary finals.
Tow rig would be a GMC with a Dirtymax and for day trips and a Global Expedition Vehicle for over nights. http://www.globalxvehicles.com . As a dally driver it would have to be a Icon FJ43. http://www.icon4x4.com
