Title: VHS to DVD
Post by: Jaguar on November 05, 2005, 05:03:38 PM
Does anyone know where I can get a VHS tape converted to a DVD? I got about 20 minutes of my band playing at a halloween party, and would like to get it off the camcorder to a DVD. I even have a VCR adaptor for the camcorder tape, if it would make things easier.... I thought I'd check here first before hittin' up the Yellow Pages.

Thanks guys!
Michael

The best thing to do would be to buy a tv tuner card for you computer that has all 3 RCA jacks and hook your tape player up to it, record it onto your computer then burn it onto DVD from there.

ROCK ON

I was thinking of that option, but after buying the card and the burner, it starts to get kind of expensive. I'm hoping it'd be cheaper to have done by sombody that has them, or by a company.  :)

What you are looking for is a Precision Sound Corp. I am pretty sure they do transfers from VHS to DVD. Good people.
