Hi Guys,
putting in a suspenion and torqued off a lower control arm bolt. Is there a canadian tire type replacement? If so does anyone know the dimensions.
I want to finish this up by tomorrow. So any and all help is appreciated. ;D
Thanks

I believe they are a 9/16" bolt. Grade 8 might be tough to find at Can Tire tho.
-
I figured...
You know of a place that would have them? and approx cost?
-
If you're in a pinch I'm sure you could find them in a grade 5 at any hardware store... just replace them with grade 8 stuff at some point.
-
go take one out from pick and pull... i've done that last time i needed a bolt thats not easy to find at the store
-
got some 5ers for now, but can anyone tell me the strength comparison for the following
Grade 8
Galvenized
Hot dipped
stainless steal

is that the axle end of the LCA? if so i think thats a cam bolt and you need to pay like $ 40 at a dealer for a replacement

Gregg's Distributors. They sold me Grade 8 hardware for my winch.
Go up to the counter, find what you need in the catalog, (or if you know size, length, and thread type, they'll find the part # in the catalog) and they'll pull it from stock for you.
The core of their business is selling to other businesses - but every time I go in, they always seem happy to help me out.

There is also The Bolt Supply House and Calgary Fastners for hardware.

Dave, XJ's are different. They don't use cam bolts, only TJ's and ZJ's.

It was the bolt on the frame, got it in.
