I have a 95 grand cheroke larado, and shortly after i got the car i was fooling around with the turnsignal/highbeam switch, next thing i know my high beam indicator wont turn off(even if the car is turned off) and my headlights on low beams wont turn on... Highbeam and night lights all lights on the dash and everything else works fine... Anyone have any advice? :-\

It might be the DayTime running light module...
Be careful..mine was screwed and I almost burnt my Jeep to the ground...
Usually when this module screws up, your light stays on even when the Jeep is not working and the key is out of the ignition.

like i said its only the headlight indicator that stays on... everything else turns off... where is the lowbeam modual located?

Umm....sorry to state the obvious, but you was playing with the switch.......you likely buggered the switch. Start there. Find a wiring diagram and see what that switch is outputting, if anything, and where the high beam indicator gets it's signal from. Come to think of it, maybe it is the DRL module. First and foremost, you need a wiring diagram. If I wasn't 952 km away, I'd come help :D

Thx for the advice dude... sorry im new at workin on cars n junk... luckily i already have a diagram... picked up the haynes repair manual a while ago for another problem...

so, like I said, check where the high beam indicator gets it's signal from, as well, check where the low beams get their power from. If both items get it from the same source, you more than likely found your problem. I'm unfamiliar with the haynes manuals, so i don't know how good their diagrams are. Hope this helps!! :D
