thats right we were out on sat afternoon, the weeling was great! but we also went out on friday when it was quiet and had a blast! thats the first time i had her off road and loved it. i could not believe some of your rigs they are quite awsome! i dont have any plans right now to make mine any bigger as i primarily want to use her as a daily driver and camping vehicle (if only i had a boat to tow behind her). i cant wait to join the jeep club and go on a trail run with you guys although i am worried i might be a little on the small side :-[

The jeep looks great. You will do fine with what your running on 75% of the runs and the winch will pull you through.

Not only for cosmetics, but for approach to objects.

You can keep your flares, just cut a nice straight line level with the top of your bumper. They look good cut, and better your approach. I have cut a few of these! ;D

There's prob a few write ups out there I'm sure..
From what I've read, all that's needed is to relocate the horn & charcoal canister (by rotating it)the air damn is removed & then just cut the fenders with a taped straight line.

Just a suggestion...

i just saw your jeep there today. i do my road testing down heritage. if you dont want to get bigger tires soon the look for a locker for the rear, or a limited slip for front and rear.
extra good traction with lockers/LSD and some good tires will get you far.

How long did it take you to do it?

the cutting was quick eh.   What about the whole process  -  Removing the fender and everything how long did it take in total?

didnot remove anything just went under with the grinder and trimed to fit. the bumper hides everything very nice and there is lots of room to work. stop by some time and have a look.

I noticed from your picture you are running Roughrider M & S tires. I have a brand new never used Roughrider M & S tire in 235/75R15 size. I will sell for cheap. It has been sitting around my garage for 2 yrs now. I now run 31's and have no use for it.
